The term "rustic" is a bread baking term that means "high hydration." Hence, our Rustic Sourdough Bread is a high hydration sourdough bread which means that it has a moist interior. The bread is produced with our whole wheat sourdough starter, resulting in composition of about 15% whole wheat flour and 85% white flour. Rustic Sourdough Bread is great for dipping in soup or eating with salad, and it is especially good when cut into thick slices.
